Achieving the Glitter and Sparkle of Life

I am no different than most people. I aspire to achieve the glitter and sparkle of life. But I also understand the work and energy needed to reach whatever I am seeking.

I can remain restful in the valley because of its comfort, glitter, and shine. Or I can roll up my sleeves, disregard the tarnish appearance and dread of the mountain and take it on one rock at a time.

I know that all that glitters is not gold, and I am not going to take the bait like Portia’s suitor in the Merchant of Venice.

Life comes in many forms and presents many challenges, but you must be willing to tackle the challenges. Climb the mountain of life for what you want and know that you deserve to have it. Disregard the appearance and focus on the journey.
