Cathy-Ann M. Alexander, Ed.D

Cathy-Ann is an author, educator, and inspirational leader who is on a journey to help individuals define their purpose and live a life aligned to their true calling.  She holds a doctorate degree in Educational Leadership and is very experienced in the field of education with over twenty years as a K-12 educator and four years in Higher Education as an adjunct professor. In additional to being an educator, Cathy-Ann has also committed her time to serving this nation for the last twenty-five years and is currently serving as a Commissioned Officer with the United States Army. She is also a veteran of the Afghanistan war.

While Cathy-Ann is passionate about her work as an educator, she is also very passionate about writing. Her interest in writing began as a little girl growing up on the Caribbean Island of Grenada. She is the founder of Wise and Witty Words for Life’s Journey, a company based on original motivational quotes and true-life stories used as inspirational tools to help guide and motivate individuals along life journeys. Cathy-Ann is also an author of three books, Wise and Witty Words for your Life’s Journey, an inspirational book of motivational quotes, and two children’s books: The Tale of Buzz-Anna the Traveling Bee, and Mya the Soldier’s Daughter.

Cathy-Ann is on a path to tell her story. She lives by her daily motto of: “What good is your story if you do not use it to inspire?” She is ready to inspire others by sharing her own life experiences. As an immigrant who overcame poverty, homelessness, biases, sexual harassment, and the struggles of single parenthood, she rose to becoming a real-estate investor, a published author, a Commissioned Officer with the United States Army, and earning a doctoral degree.
